Looking for a new economizer cover (aka: power valve cover). Fits a 2100 Motorcraft/Ford carburetor.
Mine leaks, even with a new gasket.
Would like a more substantial one than original if possible. If someone makes an aftermarket o-ring version, that might be better.

Mine have all been over-torqued by POs. I know they can be flattened with a file. I've already attempted to bend back into shape with a gentle tapping, by using a drift. It seems to soften the (pot?) metal.

Is there a thicker, or better gasket available? Suggested material? Flurosilicone?

Walker lists the gasket, but not the cover itself.

This is a duplicate of the note in the 67-72 section.

Green Sales had it, and sent it very quickly for a good price.
As an aside, they like to use the original part number to find items in their system.
This is a first-class parts place. Never had a problem with them. Just prepare to spend a few minutes waiting on hold, they are a little old fashioned.
