Pulled the trigger on a 09 F250 5.4

Well I never thought I'd buy another SD but I just couldn't deal with a dodge Dakota. Drove it home this afternoon and boy did it feel good to be back into a full size truck. Yea, I know it's a gasser and didn't have the spunk my 6.0 had I still enjoyed the ride home!

Congrats on the truck. I have an 08 with a 5.4. Just got a tuner and custom tunes from 5 star tuning, and it is like driving a different truck. Better throttle response, more power and a little better mileage, just better to drive. I recommend it.

Thanks, a custom tune has already been done on it...the past owner left the info and kit in truck. When I took it to the dealer he scanned for codes but didn't show it had a custom tune. But all in all I'm happy so far and love being in a real truck!

Thanks, it had 85 on the clock, but car fax showed owner kept up with routine maintenance and I average 4-5 thousand miles a year, so I was comfortable with those miles. Here in central PA truck prices are off the chart and stealers take full advantage.

I don't believe you got a new truck. Do you have PICTURES to prove it? Congrats anyways even without picture.

Congrats and welcome back to the Super Duty world. My '10 5.4 had 60K on the clock when I bought it a year and half ago and I couldn't be happier.

I want to do the 5 star tunes in the near future.

What custom tunes did you install? I have the higher stock gears (3.73) and never really pull any trailers. My truck is mostly a daily driver other then picking up a load of mulch or firewood.
