nope, but i know a transporter that will be in californication tomorrow and then be heading back east.
we are not allowed to drive here, they took the wheels off all the trucks.
all we can do is sit in the cab and imagine we are driving.
but they do fuel them up every now and then, so we get to run the engines and row the gears instead of just making engine noises.

Sorry, can't sell it for only $500. But i'll sell you the cab for $100 once I tear it down. Parts will start being sold in mid August. Can your transporter wait till then?

That's a good point. I looked at my E250 and E350 pretty closely, and I can't really tell the difference in the frames. The suspension and axles do look different though.
I bet IDIJohn would know the answer. Where has he been btw?

I checked the frames again. The front appears to be very similar. The front suspension has a different set up, but it uses the same center link and tie rod ends. The coils appear to be thicker. There is some sort of u-bolted plate that holds the stabilizer links on the E350 which isn't there on the E250.
But the frame is different in the back starting where the tranny cross member is. The E350 frame is about 1 1/2" taller than the E250. So there would be a substantial upgrade to the strength of the van.
But I don't think I could justify swapping out the frame.

I have a few weeks to decide. I want the engine and tranny and turbo system and some assorted other parts. If California wasn't such a sissy state, I'd pick up a gasser block and tranny from the scrapyard (along with the dash) and try to sell it. But that ain't gunna happen.
All I can hope for is someone will buy the cab and/or frame and put it to good use. There has to be someone out there that wants a clean E350 body????
(or plan B.... put my N/A air filter and parts on the van, and sell it. Then all I get to keep is the turbo kit. )

The hypermax kit was bought brand new and only has about 10K on it. There ain't even any rust on the up-pipes yet. I'm pretty confident I can get at least a grand for it on ebay as is.
I won't sell either the banks or hypermax kit yet. I need to tear down the banks kit and assess if I want to use it. It does have much bigger diameter pipes and a larger turbo, so that's good. But I'll have to rebuild the turbo first. Lots to consider in the next few months.
