2005 F250 Won't Start after Not Turning Over

Hi All,

This is my first post. I have been visiting for awhile but have not had the need to ask for specific advice until now.

Truck would not turn over a couple days ago. Did a search on my phone and came across a FTE post about unhooking the starter solenoid wire near the right side firewall and touching it to the positive battery terminal. It would turn over and if key was on, it would start. I got it started and drove back home and I have been doing that for several days to get back and forth to work.

I did hook it up to my neighbor's ODBII program on his computer and got 2 codes, a P0113 - IAT Circuit High Input and a P2199 - IAT Sensor 1/2 Correlation. With his basic software program I could not find anything about the VRef voltage shich is supposed to be 5 volts or close to it according to the posts by Rusty Alerod and bismic .

Today I went to start it using the starter solenoid wire on the battery terminal trick and it will turn over but won't start.

I have an appointment with my shop for Tuesday. I was hoping to drive it there... may have to tow it in. I would like to give them as much information as I can.

Anybody know what could be going on here?

Little history on the truck. It has just over 100,000 miles on it.

Had a turbo replaced by a dealer under warranty at 15,500 miles due to "rust developing in turbocharger veins".

At 85,000 miles while on a vacation the CEL came on. Took to nearest dealer. P0299 code- Low turbo boost. Got second opinion at an independent shop. Ended up putting a new Garrett turbo on and an new aftermarket EGR cooler and a flush.

I have put the upgraded alternator and cable kit from FICMrepair.com. Other than that it is pretty much stock.

Thanks in advance for any feedback you can give me.
