First two digits of the AXLE code refer to the rear axle. 3rd digit of the AXLE code is related to the front axle.

DP = Eaton model 23221 Two Speed Rear Axle / 6.17/8.40 / 23,000 lbs. Rear Axle Capacity.

P = Rockwell-Timken model FF-903 12,000 lbs. Capacity Front Axle with Power Steering.
