Its near 18 for gas engines and 22 for Diesel. The diesel one gives information that we don't need for a gas engine. The Diesel give TBN/Tan. Don't know what any of it means but I will. When I get the results I'm sure I will be back here to get help understanding the results.

I think you are correct. Your dealer likes his customers. I sent complete messages about my purchases and they haven't responded at all. Guess I'll have to move up your way.....Not. Oh well.

According to my build sheet, the A40D is the 4R100, this is what my rig has in it.
I currently have Mercon V in it, and all seems to be good.

Ford never made a transmission called the A4OD. There was an E4OD that evolved into the 4R100 in 1999. Your 2000 F-150 has either a 4R100 or a 4R70W. MERCON V is the right fluid for both of those transmissions.

Depends if you drain Torque Converter... if you have a external cooler,,,and if you drain that as well.... and which transmission you have.

I have the E4OD sorry, I figure 16 qts usually does it with very little left over to top it off or for later.

Book says 5 qts for dry trans. Must be trans only... Torque converter likely 10 and cooler extra 1 or so.

What book? I wouldn't trust that book, it's WAY off. If it is an E4OD or 4R100 you'll get more than 5 out just by draining the pan.

Amsol online product application guide. Didn't say for sure they were correct or not.. Just where I got the information. Being Amsol I just kinda figured they wouldn't post something that wasn't so.

Sure is. The rest of my bulk was in torque converter and coolers. Most is Torque Converter.
