i hve an 08 escape, and i have now experienced the issue i have heard about. the drivers side rear window hinge has rotted out and the glass is dropping down. i need to replace this hinge asap. ford carries it for 130$. cant find it aftermarket yet. does anybody have the right place to get the correct replacement hinge? seems like it should be a recall. but ford knows nothing (imasgine that) looks like the other side is not far behind.

 

It won't be a recall because it isn't a safety issue.

Ebay has them for as low as $60.
