Can't see the ends of the axles. I'm looking for the tie down or lift hook holes. Bet it started out as one of these:

I wouldn't call bs on that truck just yet. A less blurry pic would help to decipher a photoshop job or not. I have seen trucks that had two rear axles before (buddies grandpa has one now). It looks to me that the axles on the truck are 2 1/2 ton rockwells. It wouldn't be hard to remove the body of a deuce and a half and slap a cab and modified bed (or two) on the frame. I bet it is pretty easy with the right wiring harness. Out of all the mods we have seen done on this forum, I wouldn't think this is too far fetched. Come on Jssec, more pics!

Based on the "look", I would say they are GMC and the whole chassis is the M135. My dad had several of those trucks and it "looks" like the spacing, wheel type etc to me. Those M135s are/were dirt cheap. The axles are pretty wimpy compared to Rockwells, especially the 5 ton jobs. You could still buy the ring a pinion at a GMC dealer if you knew the correct GMC 1 ton model that used the same guts. Much cheaper than the military surplus supplier.
