alan..did ya need another FE manifold

RC. I think this manifold is ok, I just need to fix a broken bolt and replace the gaskets. ....at least that's how it looks right now. I'll know more when I dig into it.

It looks like I can move in to my new shop this weekend. That'll be nice.

Also, I'm going to the Taney county fair tomorrow. Guys I've been talking to are there with their monster truck, Mississippi Nightmare. Tiff and I are gonna go and hang out a little and go for a ride. I'm trying to get them to stop by the shop on their way out so I can get a picture of the two trucks together.

 

Good morning all. Alan, sounds pretty cool. Hopefully they stop by the shop. I've been hammering on Eleanor and she's supposed to go home tonight...if the rain stays away and the test drive goes good, I don't drive client cars. Work and the shop have kept me scarce on here.

 

Yes I hear ya...me to. And I am not really any further on any projects either... Sounds cool to talk to some other monster truck guys. Did you find a x uhaul yet?

Rich. Yes and no. I found one, but until the Scab gets paid for, I didn't even bother to call about it. I don't making deals I can't back up. After I have some money in my pocket, I'll call about it.

RC came up and I got busy on his street rod. He has a new valance under the grill and the fenders are fixed where the valance attaches. We also go the steering mocked up on the C cab. I actually turned the wheels left and right by turning the input shaft on a steering gear box. .....that was exciting!

 

Good After Noon all! I need to get to working on some projects but I'm not gunna spend money on a good paint job until I'm done wheeling with it.

Maybe I need to buy another one????

 

Mason. Yes, you definitely need another truck.

...but then again, my opinion may be a tad biased.

 

Alan I still have that 460....

Good Morning Everybody!

My brother in law didn't show up or even call last night. I'm not sure what that means, but it's just as well. The truck needed the exhaust leak fixed regardless. If he buys it, awesome! If he doesn't, well, I guess that's ok, too.

I have RC's truck, the Scab and an engine swap to get done. The engine swap has to be done by Friday, so I better get cracking on that one.

 

good morning missouri.. well been digging around the shed and found my angle drill.. now maybe i can make some progress on alans scab.. doing the dreaded FE block exhaust manifold..got lucky and only have 2 bolts broke off..... should be up that way alan after i go get the hood at the yard and a few things at the shop

 

Good morning all. Looks like RC and Alan are busy as can be. Eleanor went home last night, I've never seen a family so happy with a car. They didn't care that it was sprinkling, took her for a test drive, pulled her in the shop to check for leaks, no leaks and off they went on a 60 mile drive home. CJ is going to try and get my convertible home today so I can put the top on it and start driving it.

 

Today turned into a damn disaster. After RC got the manifold cleaned up, he noticed it was cracked in two places. SO, ....another $130 and three hours down the drain to get the exhaust leak sealed up.

Then I had to do the engine swap by myself because Eric never even bother to show up today. No call or nothin'. We're gonna have a chat about that tomorrow.

Everything I touched turned to crap today and I'm ready for a LOT of alcohol. ....and I don't even drink!

 

Beat shoveling/racking 3 loads of backhoe front bucket cold mix into pot hole all day long, then get on the tractor and drag the roller on it for a few more hrs....

I did not like my new job today at all.

 

Ha folks I think it was RC's birthday yesterday???? Happy belated birthday YOUNG man, I am correct?
