Good Morning Everybody!

RC. I didn't know it was your birthday yesterday. No I feel bad for making you work your tail off.

I'm gonna see what I can get done today. Maybe finish up that engine swap I started yesterday. I guess we'll see what happens.

Howdy all. Playing hooky from the office today for some family time. My oldest's birth mother is here to visit before she starts an overseas teaching position. We've stayed in contact over the years so it's not as weird as it sounds.

On the way home from work yesterday with the AC cranked up, it occurred to me that I've worked out the high rpm stutter I kept experiencing. Hopefully it will stay that way for a while. Now I need to hunt down a racket coming from the front end of the Durango. I think I may have hurt a u-joint or the CV joints on the front end. Backing the tow dolly under the truck the other day in 4 low & reverse may have been more that the 1/4 million mile old joints could take. It's in the front and I can feel it in the steering so I'm thinking CVs on the front axle shaft more than the u-joint, but since i have to pull the axle to drop the front drive shaft I'll wind up checking both.

This is my second one, I wouldn't consider myself an upholstery guy. I figure with practice, I'll get better.

I worked on my tan today for my upcoming vacation, meaning I was on the zero turn for hrs...lol

Nostalgia drags are this sat. 6/27 Ozarks Racer Reunion Nostalgia Drags. I planned on going.... I planned anyway....2015 Event Schedule | Where the Earth Shakes, Rattles and Rolls!

This sun is the youngest grandson b-day party.. So we have to go down on sat, at least I get to be a pirate AHRRRRR! And we are bringing the oldest boy and girl grand-kids back home for a week at the house.

The 4th is planned out for me too already....

I just want to work on my friggin trucks and be left alone for a weekend, just once! Wine over.

Alan or anyone, want to buy A BUNCH of Ford trucks and parts? Wine really over.

Evening All.

RC kept finding stuff on the Scab for me to replace. It's finally good enough to sell now, so we're going to leave it the way it is.

The engine swap is almost done too. A few more hours and it can go home. The Jeep I repainted went home today too. Also, the steel showed up for Earthquake, so it's getting the lift I need to drive it again next week. I want to get on RC's truck.

If tomorrow is as cool as they claim it's going to be, I'll probably tinker on the jeep. Then Saturday morning it "RANGE TIME"!!!

There's an Eagle Scout in the house! Jesse - my 2nd son - passed his review board this evening. I'm one proud papa.

Morning folks, RC you better slow down and be more careful there, you "YOUNG" guy. It is raining here and I am straight up goofing off at work on the computer...

Not really, I am putting my water readings in for the day and am making a drive by.

Good morning all, neat storm here last night. Dave, that's awesome! RC, has your youth not taught you to be more careful? Rich, great news on the grandkids and everybody being so concerned about helping you avoid the inherent boredom that comes from working on your own toys.
