Special grill badge question

I have seen a lot of grill badges on euro cars. They are almost always round. However I have seen grill badges that are just a chevron. I bet it's maddening wondering but I suspect the simplest answer is the most likely. Probably a chevron badge from a previous owner/vet . I only offer this subjective question as logic. Have you ever seen a banks, atc, hypermax, or gear vendor grill badge ? They are among the most expensive mods one could make to their truck. Also most badges attach to the louvers in a way that they do not damage the car. It could be as simple as "hey this looks cool" . Just my opinion. Best of luck finding an answer. Now I'm interested!

what was it for? they liked the appearance so they added it.
isn't that upside down and singular for it to be the chevron logo?
was probably something else.looks like a Philips screwdriver is all it takes to remove it.you can probably source a replacement ford emblem at a salvage yard/e-bay.

Not THE Chevron logo... A single "Chevron", showing ones military rank. One Chevon could indicate the previous ownew was a Private in the Army.
