No low Range
Hey all. Newly registered useer here. I posted an intro thread *** well. Thanks for having such an informative site. I've got a new issue with my '99 F250 v10. Got into a bit of mud last night and tried to shift into 4x4 with the esof system. Hubs were locked manually as the truck had the auto hubs removed when I bought it. The light lit up on the dash. Front did not seem engaged. I stopped and placed truck in neutral and pushed in the brake and attempted to shift to 4low. When I did there was a thunk from under the truck and the 4x4 light went out. Could not get it to cycle at all after that. Killed the truck and it seemed to reset but anytime I try to shift to 4low I get the same thunk and the entire system appears to short out. Not sure where to look. Motor sounds like it's trying so does not seem to my untrained mind to be electrical but the motor that shifts the tcase but the fact it will not function at all after trying to shift has me stumped. I searched and could not find anything quite like this. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks!
