Front and Rear looked twisted, how to align?

going over my 74 F100 and notice the front bumper is raised up on the drivers side, It looks like it isn't bent, but it must be. Anyway, the bumper is attached directly to frame so there isn't any bracket to adjust. How do people get these back to even? If I put a new bumper on, it would be leaning too. BTW, I measured about 2 feet back from the bumper from the ground to the bottom of the frame and it's the same on both sides. Do you remove the bumper and heat the end of frame to push that corner down? thanks,

Another question, is the very back of the bed on the drivers side seems to be about an inch lower on the drivers side. Again, I measured the frame to ground and it was the same side to side, and the bed frame is not rusted out and is bolted solid to the frame. It's weird, it's just in that one corner. The back bumper seems striaght and square. Any ideas what it is or how to adjust it? thanks

High on the dvrs side frame horn, and high on the passenger rear frame. You can see the bed twist. Has it ever been in an accident?

You can shim the front bumper with a washer. But that is not going to fix the frame/bed issue, does it dog leg or side trac down the road?

Frame shop...

I would look for sagging on the front passenger side and any evidence of an upper impact on the front drivers side.. Half of my rivets turned loose on my rear drivers leaf hanger and caused that corner to drop slightly

Crawl under and look at it until you're eyes hurt! look good around the body mounts to see if they have been shifted

I see the front bumper has a sag to the left but isn't bent, I would suspect the front

There doesn't appear to have ever been a bad accident, it's all the original body panels and there is no filler, it's even all original paint. My guess is the front passenger side spring is a little weak since it sits about an 1" lower on the passenger side measured from the ground to the top of the wheel opening.
The front bumper has been pushed in and up a bit from the looks of things, I wonder if a frame shop with a portapower could pull that horn down a little? If so, that shouldn't be to expensive or hard to do. What do yall think?

On the rear, the springs dont look cracked or broken or shifted but I'll keep looking. The tailgate, bumper, and passenger side all line up really nice, its just that one corner that looks like it drops from about the middle of the bed towards the corner of the drivers taillight. I'll keep looking at the springs. the mounts and bed are solid and bolted down good.

A thought I wondered about is, if the drivers side is actually low, or the passenger side is riding a little high? If the frame was twisted, wouldn't the rear bumper and tailgate look slanted instead of just the drivers corner?

it tracks straight, the frame being twisted is possible but again, wouldn't that show up looking at the rear with?

Thanks for all your suggestions and ideas. If I found a frame shop, could they check it very easily or is that an expensive check?

Try this before heading to the frame shop....

....with the truck on the tires and suspension measure the diagonals on the frame at identical locations. Then put the truck up on stands and measure again with its weight completely off the tires and suspension.

I'll try that too,
Has anyone here ever had the bumper horns bent a little to even things out. Since these trucks dont have brackets to bend, It seems like this would be a fairly common fix?
thanks

If you measured " 2' back" on the front frame & it was even to the ground like you say, then measure out at the end of the horns at the bumper bolts. That should tell you if the drivers side is HIGH. But that DOESN'T mean the frame is bent up on that side. Possibly the right side is low.Passenger suspension, tire pressures,springs..... on and on... can all affect ride heights. Don't start heating and bending until the actual problem is found. A frame shop should do a full measurement (only measure) for a couple hundred bucks in my Northeast area.
