Do 2014 tail lights physically fit in 2015?
I realize the pig tails (wiring harness) will have different number and different style of bulb receptacles.
But do the 2014 tail lights physically fit in the 2015?
The 2014 have greater driving/parking light area illuminated.
Also the 2014 have greater brake light area illuminated.
I really hate to say it, but the tail lights are a reason to hold out and wait to see if Ford corrects the issue in 2016 or 2017 (or GM introduces a redesigned 2016 or 2017 Silverado).
Thanks,
Jim

Seeing as how you have such strong opinions about the 2015 tail lights, shouldn't you be able to tell that the 2015 and 2014 have drastically different shaped tail lights? I don't see how you could have arrived at this question without at least briefly looking at them and realizing they are very differently shaped between the two years...

I think the tail lights look pretty much the same but doubt they could do a swap. I have noticed however that 2015's without BLIS have a more normal tail light that might be able to be adapted to fit. You would probably be disabling the BLIS system as a trade off. I agree the present LED tail lights have a very cool look but I think under poor visibility conditions may not illuminate as well as we would like. I'm sure time will tell.
