clack/tick from timing chain slop?????

351m. This only occurs while driving under load, the chain I can move over a 1/4 inch from the fuel pump hole.

What do you guys think?

Short vid promise.

with how much that motor is moveing I would say there is your click clak sound, but if its timeing chain stuff, go with a cloys double roller

That movement is reverse to forward in stick. I wonder though if you may be on to something.

Negative on motor movement just watched the whole vid, its not due to the motor rocking

Why is that engine moving so much when you give it gas?
Sure doesn't appear normal, even if it isn't the cause of the noise. It might be something to look at unless it is normal? Don't think my 460 even moves that much though.

The motor roll is from rolling reverse then driving forward. Trust me ive already checked its not the mounts look at the later part of the vid not me slamming it into 1st and dumping the clutch while still rolling backwards

I'd suggest keep looking for cause of the sound. 1/4" slop in the timing chain is not a whole lot and I don't know what it would hit to make the sound. No harm to replace the chain but may not fix your problem.

That's kind of what I'm trying to figure out, if its anything more than the chain Im getting rid of the truck, Im trying to figure it out now vs pay the 75 bucks to fix the chain then wind up getting rid of it anyways.

And check the Chain vid out that's allot of slop. I figure its either valves knocking the piston or the chain trying to jump.

Are you ready to hear this? The ticking sound was coming from the coolant overflow hose that became un ziptied... and upon acceleration was hitting my fan.....

You can say it.... dumba$$.. lol

Ok, now just need to replace timing chain.
