Just my SWAG, but I would think the two figures being discussed could someway come together. Cash talks.
BTW, the URL, out of the country email probably turns some business off. Might try a phone call.
I fail to see the vintage air unless he is referring to the vent windows and cowl vent.

Most car lots are closed on Sunday here in the U.S. - I'll swing by there &
take a look for you & report back Monday.

Hey F1 Rookie,
Sorry for the delay - It's been graduation week over here in
Austin. We've had a lot of family & visitors this week.

Shoot me an email when you get a chance - Let's talk
via email. I haven't been by there yet - I apologize for the delay.

Absolutely no need to apologize. Family should always come first.
E-mail sent.

Hey Thomas,
I sent you a private email regarding my meeting with BZ Motors
& the yellow '55 F100. I'm not an expert on '55's but maybe a few pics will help. The front axle was not an IFS & the VIN # was visible on the front passenger frame rail (yeah). They say that engine is a 223.

I would characterize the sellers as a small old car/truck reseller. I think they are motivated to sell the truck as they dragged it to a Mecum auction & it didn't get sold for their price....

Good luck over there. I think it's a nice truck & it didn't look like it had been messed with too much. No IFS but it did have an after market A/C. The interior was good but the seats & interior doors were a tan corduroy (a little different). I did not get the feeling that the back bed was original - it looked new. It was also running some pretty wide real wheels.

Good luck over there in Norway. Let me know if you need any more help.

Psst, giving reps is also a great way to show appreciation. Just click the scale icon (looks like this:

) on one of Ben's posts.

Can anyone confirm that the engine is in fact a 223? I also wasn't sure what was going on with the carburetor & shrunken down air filter.

There is also a long cylindrical object hanging down under the rear end?

Thx

(No reps needed - it was good to get out today & enjoy the sunshine. We really got hit hard with weekend storms down here in Texas).
