1986 F250 4x4 specs

Hi guys,
I am new in this forum, that I found a couple of days ago. But I have been surfing this site and actually all the web and, or I am a very bad “surfer” or there is no information about my 1986 F250 4x4.
I found information about other years, but what happened in 1986? Maybe it is because this is the last year of 7th generation and everybody was looking at the next models. Do I have a rare vehicle? I never thought it was so
Anyway, I am asking for your help cause I am not able to find the original dimensions of my pickup (VIN 1FTHF2615GP): length, wheelbase (3420mm , I measured in my pickup) front and rear tracks…
Also I would like to know which tires Ford originally sold in this year, standard or as option (I think there was only two options but I am not sure).
Could you please help me? It would be great to see this information from a original brochure or service manual.
Thanks everybody. Great forum!!

Welcome to FTE

1981 thru today: The VIN contains 17 digits, you only typed 11. If you typed the 11 digits in the proper sequence:

1FT = FoMoCo USA - Ford Truck - Complete Vehicle.

H = Class G Hydraulic Brakes - 8,501-9,000 lbs. Gross Vehicle Weight Rating.

F26 = F250 4WD Pickup.

1 = 6.9L (420 cid) V8 Diesel.

5 = Check digit, FoMoCo usage only.

G = 1986.

P = Twin Cities MN Assembly Plant.

The wheelbase, codes for the COLOR - TYPE/GVW - BODY - TRANS - AXLE - DSO and etc. are printed on the Certification Label, glued to the left door face below the latch.

Some of the info you are seeking will only be found in the Owners Manual. If you don't have one try: faxonautolit.com

Thank you for replying numberdummy, I could decode the vin so I had that information, but from the documentation of the vehicle, unfortunatly the door sticker is lost.
Besides, in the owners manual that I bought the wheelbase is 133 in (3378mm) that does not fit my vehicle.

133" wheelbase: 1973/96 F250 Regular Cab with an 8' bed. Super & Crew Cabs have longer wheelbases.

The VIN's F26 series code decodes to a Regular or Crew Cab F250 4WD pickup.

ok. But I it is a regular cab for 3 people. In my manual, wheelbases are:
Regular cab 8´: 133"
Regular cab 6.75´: 117"
Crew cab: 168.4 "

Never 134.5" as in my pickup. Do you think it has been modified? It doesn´t seem to

Your only 1.5 inches off. It's probably a 133" wheelbase. Make sure the wheels are pointed straight ahead.

The 117" wheelbase only applies to F150's, because Ford never offered an F250 Regular Cab with a 6 3/4' bed.
