New Guy (60 F100)
Hey guys, I purchased a 1960 F100 this weekend in really good shape. 74,000 original miles on it and very little rust. Where is the best place to start looking for parts? I need to fix the gauges, only the speedometer work, fix the factory radio, get and install seat belts, glove box wont stay shut, fix the hood latch, and get and install side mirrors. Any help or links is greatly appreciated.

I suggest filling out your profile as some of your list may be locally sourced, saving shipping costs. DC has a good rep for quality which is part of why you pay more.
I did 3-point shoulder belts, which is WAY better than just lap belts, in both ease use of use and efficacy should they be needed. A kit made it real easy and appears factory, plus the huge washers to load spread from impact is correct.
There is ample room to site all the hardware in these fridges, but I did need a short belt extender on the receiver side, due to seat firmness and height.

How about some pic's when you fill in your location?
Here is how to post pic's on FTE

Do you have digital pix of your truck from digital camera or phone on your computer? If so it is easy to add them to a post (assuming the file is not too large). Find the pic on your computer and leave it open while you come here in another window. Compose a post, click where you want the pic to appear in the post. Click on the picture icon at the top of the posting box (looks like a postcard with mountains and sun) A dialog box will open asking if you want to drag a pic onto the box or browse your computer to find it. If you have the pic open, go there, right click anywhere on the pic and chose copy from the menu. Come back to your post and right click on the box. Select paste from the menu. Your picture should appear (it may take a few seconds to load) in the box. Now left click on the insert button.
If the stars all aligned your picture should now be in your post window. Select post to have it appear on the forum or repeat to add more pix. Some cameras make huge files these days that are larger than the forum limits. You may need to resize or resample the picture and save the smaller file version with whatever picture editing software came with your picture taking device before you can post it.
Oh! and welcome to FTE and the old truck madness.

It's on p. 36, item 53-13871 ($225). Their listing for 65-66 uses 65 versus 53 in the item number; same price.
I cannot verify sameness with DC or others, but believe these are rather generic. There are only a few sources for seat belts and most vendors resell from those sources. You may find similar quality for le$$. I try to support vendors here, when I can, but was eager to stop driving with NO belts.

Because, primarily, the store is local, I got it here:
