Do I Need to Add a Fuel System to My Wish List?
I did the Hutch and Harpoon mods when I bought the truck (I installed the ITP Diesel, now Strictly Diesel, version of the Harpoon). I just got the FRx from Clay but haven't installed it yet.
With 270K on the clock I know that injectors are somewhere on the horizon but don't plan to do much (if anything) over stock size as I'm not looking to end up beyond the 350-400hp range at the most. That's not a target but as I replace broken/worn out things with better products I am sure that the engine output will climb.
Is it worth going with a full system (CPR, FASS, AirDog, etc.) or will my minimal mods support the modest gains with my OEM fuel bowl?
With so many different places offering fuel systems (including DIY on some forums) I would think it is a fairly popular item but I haven't been able to find much research on them.
