I picked up a 79 f250 someone put in a 460 i think its a 1973..
its a good truck but it needs to be cleaned up.

the temp and oil pressure sending units are not hooked up and working.

What sending unit do i need so they will work with my instrument gauges?
i have the idiot light but i want to swap out the panel to one with the gauges.

can some one tell me witch timing set and where i can get it for the upgrade i read about.

i just bought a 460 when i changed the fuel pump the chain is real sloppy it needs to be changed and i want to upgrade.

I'm not sure about the sending units on those older motors, but you want a pre-72 or an 88-97 timing set. I'm not sure if you will get a double roller set if you order the older ones, so I would get one of the newer sets.
