Well she made the big milemarker... Turned over 300k yesterday on the way to work, and she shows no signs of slowing down! Sure don't build 'em like this anymore!

Congrats!! That's a pretty big milestone! Mine currently has 223k on it and I hope I can make her last to 300k+ as well.

Congrats)

I am at 246K miles on mine and it will take several more years to get to where you are but I plan on getting there. I am really looking forward to making it to the 20 year anniversary of ownership next year!

92 F150 XLT with 302 cu in

I'm up to 296,000 now. Replaced the engine at about 200,000 because of the freeze caps leaking. Engines was running good though. Running a 302 Jasper rebuilt engine now. Does that count? One only owner: me

Regards,
Larry

300,000km is 186,411 miles. That's still a lot of miles, a lot of cars are crushed long before then.

@ OP: Congrats!

Well if it does count then I'm doing good too with 267k on the original motor. Transmission rebuilt once, transfer case replaced twice. PO had the trans rebuilt and, according to the receipt, had a "good used transfer case" installed. Well the "good" used (electric shift) t-case grenaded on me so I replaced it with a manual shifted model that I rebuilt myself.

OP, congratulations* (with a star by it) because that's in kilometers and not all that unusual for a Ford Usually the first thing to go in a high mileage Ford is the auto transmission but yours seems to be doing great!

Thanks everyone! I'm pretty proud of her.

The Tranny "went" last year but it turned out to be the transfer case. The transfer case ate through another shift fork recently, so I may have to look in to a full rebuild on it, or replacement.

I know its not unusual for a ford, BUT up here 300K and being in the shape shes in is nearly unheard of. They're usually rusted to all hell after that many miles.

I've been asked time and time again "Is that the original paint?" or "did you restore that yourself" Most frequent question is, "do you wanna sell it" whick is always quickly followed by "NO"

My answer would be it depends on what you are offering....would you take $80,000 - $100,000 for it....I would say maybe....
