Knoxx Cargo Strutt. You can't buy them anymore . For keeping that pesky 3rd row up.

I thought anything you put in the back kept the seat up? like coolers, luggage, dogs!

I think one could pretty easily be fabricated if someone wanted to do it. I like the idea because we don't use the 3rd row often, and its usually unexpected when we do need it. We also use it more when we go home on leave (hauling family around with us instead of taking 3 vehicles everywhere), so it has to make the trip with us. I just bought one of these off ebay for $37 shipped, seemed cheaper than I would be able to build my own version, lol.

Apoc, I think the idea is to have the 3rd row in the truck with it's seatback folded down flat to the seat bottom cushion, then unlatching the 3rd row at the rear and folding the whole shebang forward towards the 2nd row seatbacks. Then this fancy thing-a-ma-bob gets installed between the rear floor mount for the 3rd seat that is now vacant and the now raised 3rd seat bottom latch thus keeping the 3rd row safely folded forward and out of the way of the much larger open cargo area. But still having the option of folding the seat back down to carry extra folks when needed. Pretty slick idea actually.

LOL, I heard that a lot when I got my orders. I don't mind it actually, lots of fishing spots for me and the fam, and I am only about 20 minutes from TX when I miss home, haha.

On a related note to the thread, my little strut thingamajig should be here in a few days. I will let you know if it works as good in real life as it does in my head, lol.

My mother grew up in Leesville. Took her back a few years ago for her 60th HS reunion, even she wasn't impressed. There is lot's of fishing and the weather is generally pretty decent when it's cold as sh%$ up here. Pretty rough town all in all. Nice people, the ones I met anyway.
