Exhaust Recommendations, 2012 F250 6.7L

Thinking about going with an aftermarket exhaust for my truck. Good or Bad idea? Brands? Looking for performance and a "little bit" of an aggressive sound. Any input is appreciated.

Only 1 brand fit's that bill for Diesel IMO...MBRP

If u want an aggressive sound (as did I) get the MBRP Turbo-Back Kit w/Dual Tails.
While the Duals provide no more performance gain over their single system, there is a sound difference

I have tried many different Brands over the years (huge A/M enthusiast), my Brand of choice for Diesel is MBRP while Gas engine's is MagnaFlow & for pete's sake stay away from Banks (sounds no better than OE, ask me how I know).....Have fun

Do you have a DEF delete kit? All I see are filter-back exhausts for the 6.7 by MBRP (MBRP | Products)... Maybe they're one in the same? Dunno where the filter is in the flow :/

I like the Flo pro kits due to the fact they come with all band clamps but I have no experience with them.

Unless your going to delete I think exhaust is a waste of money it's not going to sound much different or do much for you with the cat and soot bag still in place.

As everyone else said, if you keep the DPF in place, you are only doing the exhaust for looks. Muck of the exhaust goes back into the engine then is burnt off in the DPF. Only then does anything really go out the tailpipe.

On my 2011. I had a MBRP DPF back pipe with a nice tip on it. At least it looked nice

Had a long thread about the DPF and EGR delete last night and today, which set me on a straight path for how to proceed -- maybe you will find this useful; the thread is @ https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...ound-good.html
