America's Car Museum

A friend and I went to the America's (Lemay) Car Museum last week. They have a special collection on the F-series trucks through June. I would have loved to have Fred entered but I am about a year behind. Anyway there was some very nice iron there.

Very cool, I loved that Museum when we visited a few years ago. Would love to see it again with all the trucks!

Some nice trucks, but I would think if they go to the trouble of painting and fixing up these trucks they would be accurate in the restoration.

I like the display in the bed of that red 53/54. It looks like a working stock truck with the exception of the white rims and big tires.

I was surprised that several of these nicely done trucks had used plane Stainless (not polished or painted) bolts for the rear fender braces and the running boards. Kinda made them really stand out and imho not in a good way.
