Suspension lift on a '94 F350...4 inch Rough Country??

Hello all!

I have been putting my time and research into a suspension lift for my '94 F350 that's currently stock. I went straight to rough country because for a good deal, you can put an OK lift on your truck, (I've previously put one on a jeep wrangler).

Upon further examination of what they're offering...they argue that the sway bar end links don't need to be any longer than from stock?? I don't think that's true. I've heard nightmares about these lifts for the old 90's fords and I'm not sure if they're isolated incidents.

ALSO according to customer service, they provide a 3 in block for the back axle.....these year F350's have a stock block of 4inches, which he continued to argue with me. I don't believe I'm mistaken with this. He said to NOT stack the blocks, that the 3in is meant to replace the stock block....he told me to LEAVE the stock block in the back and work on the front.

ESSENTIALLY this is a LEVELING KIT for the 350's. I even told him that and he agreed.

has anyone had any success on with the 4in suspension lifts and maybe I'm mistaken in some of this?

With that being said, I'm very unsure if I'll buy from them. Can anyone suggest a lift kit that comes with everything needed for 4-6" of suspension lift? I'm having a hard time finding one for under $1000. I've explored PMF to the fullest extent but they do not bundle their parts, so individually it's close to $2000.

Thanks!!

If your going to lift your truck I would seriously consider and RSk with Superduty springs.
You can get between 2.5 to 5 inches of lift and a hell of a lot better ride.
If you want to stick to a standard 4 inch lift check out BDS. My truck has the BDS lift the p.o. had installed.

Oh yeah I did look up some RSK changeovers. Know where I could get some superduty springs and who would sell a complete RSK?
