2001 F350 AC SYSTEM LEAK

Seems like my 2001 f350 7.3 has an ac freon leak on pass side near compressor. AC is blowing coolish air but not cold like is should be. There is green like oil around main line leading out of ac compressor. I have attached several pics to help illustrate situation. Any help diagnosing system leak would be so much appreciated, AZ summer heat is right around the corner.
Thank you.

The green you are seeing is most likely oil that has had dye added. If it's what you are showing in the first picture, it's probably the o-rings where the line meets the compressor.

So the complete ac assembly needs to be replaced?
Here is part that I found online:

Not necessarily. Where the hose mounts to the compressor there are o-rings to seal it. I can't tell from the picture if the leak is coming from the o-rings or the hose itself. You will have to determine that.

The majority of the leak is located at the point where the metal meets the rubber hose, if that makes sens.

If that's the case you would have to replace the hose assembly.

Looks like a bad hose to me. Some light soap bubbles will show where the leak is.
