292 connecting rod bearings

I recently purchased a set of NOS connecting rods bearings for my concours restoration. The set was sold as B5T-6211-C (.010 undersize), but the bearings actually labelled EBV-6211-B. Immediately noticeable was the oil hole is located on the side opposite of the bearing tab, unlike my original 1960 Ford bearings with the hole on the tab side. After conducting some research, it appears there are several versions of the Y-block bearing--some without oil holes, some with a single oil hole (on either side of the bearing), and some with dual oil holes. Before I return these bearings, can anyone shed elaborate on the EBV-6211-B part number/application? If I were to use this set, they would render the piston ring oil squirter inoperable. Did Ford change their 292 bearing design to relocate the bearing oil hole for some reason or are these bearings wrong for my application?

The EBV-6211-B bearing seems to be for an early 50's Y 256 Mercury. So possibly the oil hole in the rod was changed at a later date. The rods in my 57 292 have the oil hole located like yours. I've used the bearings with two holes, also single and that shouldn't be a problem but I wouldn't use ones that didn't line up with the oil hole in the rod

Interestingly, the aftermarket bearings differ as well, ranging from single hole (on either side of the shell), dual hole, and even ones without any oil hole. I'm going to return the bearings and locate another (correct) NOS set. Thanks for the help.
