sunroof and foglights problem
I've got an 2004 Harley f250. The sunroof hasn't worked since I bought the truck about a year ago. Summer is almost here and I would like to fix it.
Anytime you try to open the sunroof it just makes a horrible clicking noise and nothing happens. So today I pulled the glass off to inspect things. The first thing I noticed is that the driver side track moves but the passenger side doesn't. I'm not sure what could cause this. Its kinda hard to see without just ripping the whole headliner out.
So I was wondering if anyone has had experience with this and if they could point me in the right direction. I've been all over Google but haven't found anything helpful yet. I see there's a repair kit that comes with the new glides and pieces. But I don't want to waste my money on that if I just need a whole new setup/casset or whatever its called.
Also my fog lights do not work. I've checked the fuse, bulbs. The switch lights up. When I check for power at the foglight housing...nothing, no power. From what research I've done my understanding is the relay is built into the fuse box! Genious! Who came up with that idea....... Anyways I've kinda looked around for some kind of write up on how to fix that but seem to be having trouble finding anything. I understand you can wire in your own relay and keep the factory switch but you gotta know where to wire it in...duh. Any pointers on this and I will be very appreciative.
Thanks a lot
