Although it really wasn't that bad for a winter, I am happy to have ti "officially" over. Although snow is in the forecast for Monday.... As a result, my snow fence is staying put for just a bit longer. I only hope there is no May snow storm this year...

I definitely agree with you on that but the corn we planted early and got snowed on did do impressively better then anything planted after, farming can be weird sometimes.

Weather was great here over the weekend.

 

Saturday was pretty nice, Sunday a bit windy and cold. Monday, woke up to ice everywhere... It did all melt off. Could have been way worse, NE Iowa had up to a foot of snow...

Our substation yard was a complete muddy, goopy mess yesterday and today. And expecting it to be the same tomorrow.

 

Well, we did need it! Hey, should be back in the 70's next week, so that'll dry it up!

Hello Iowa folks...yard work or relaxing?

 

Working... it's been about 28 days in a row now with one half day off due to rain. But our foreman is being nice and letting us have a 4 day weekend for Easter. Funny, since he's Mormon, but it's whatever. I'll enjoy it.
