Look what I found on the way home from work

I took a different way home a week ago when an accident had the roads clogged up. Went back today for pictures. It is in a towing and truck repair lot. When I got out and took pictures I saw a really old for sale sign in it.

So I called the lot for more information. Turns out it is for sale. It is the owners father's. The woman I was speaking to said it has been sitting on the lot now for years. Hasn't been run. She said she thought he wanted $2500 for it but that was years ago. Unfortunately the father went to the hospital and the son was there. She recommended IO come by and speak with the son. But I will wait a week or two.

So what do you think it is worth? Body is in nice shape. The running boards are dented up. had 93000+ miles showing.

I'm not sure what it's worth but it doesn't look to be in all that bad of shape. A few small issues with the paint here and there. What might be a concern is it not having the air cleaner on the carb. Most of the ones I have looked at that don't have the air cleaner on were stuck. Given I haven't looked at too many. Check it out real good before making your offer.

I agree. I wasn't excited about seeing no air cleaner either. It isn't even in the cab, so I assume it was being driven without an air cleaner.

Any small dump truck like that, that runs good, is worth twice that. If it were closer to me it would have been in my driveway last week.
