Using Hot Shot oil / Fuel additives w Diesel Kleen

My sensor was putting out a value that was read on a snap on scanner so that is good.
Regarding the Hot Shot fuel treatment it says to use once ever 6 months. I have a 44 gallon tank should I run a little more than than 18-20 oz. So the ratio us still correct? Or is that "too much overall"
The excursion tank is much larger, that is my concern.

Thought I'd make a post regarding my results on the trip
Strictly freeway doing 70 ish / 2k rpm
Over 700 miles I got 17.9 mpg
Next tank was 80% freeway at 80-85 mph and 20% city driving at 520 miles I got 16.1 mpg
Last tank was strictly freeway 30% 80 mph and 70% 65-70 mph and I got 16.8 mpg over 668 miles.
The first and last leg was including 350 miles of Oregon and Norcal where you really have to watch your speed.
With a full load and the storage roof box I'm really happy with the results.
We will see how the combination of the additive and change to synthetic oil will help over more city / mixed driving.
Thanks for everyone's input.
