new chrome badges?

Planning to paint Bertie after I get done with the mechanical stuff, and that list is getting rapidly shorter (let's hope it doesn't get longer!).

Can get a new repro grill or a billet grill, new headlights/turns for the chrome trim, and new rubber lower molding, but...

Is anybody selling good repro badges, like "F150 XLT Lariat"? Would be a shame to make her all pretty, but then not be able to put nice looking jewelry back on the old girl. Thx

Bronco graveryard, NPD (national parts depot) and I believe dennis carpenter sell them not sure of the quality but usually their parts I hear are pretty good don't see why badges wouldn't be.

But if you want badges, new shiney ones look better. LOL!

Checked NPD and Bronco Graveyard. Stuff for earlier and later, but not much for the 1987-91 period.

I could probably use later model ones (easier to get and cheap), but I like the "modern" 1980's styling of the ones on my truck.

LMC has them. Some of their stuff is great and some is not. Badges should be fine. Just stay away from their body parts.

You are right, sir! Truck Parts and Truck Accessories

But it's even worse now that I know: Just the F150 and the XLT Lariat emblems together come out to $93. Per side!

Anybody know how to re-chrome these buggers???!!!
