Updated Spy Shots of Super Duty

I own two.
I have a 2008 F-350 CCSWB with a KEM 345 tuned 6.4 that never sees winter, and a 12' GM for my winter beater and for plowing snow. My 08' just turned 50k on the clock.
When I bought my 08', my idea wasn't to trade in that beast engine until something better or updated came along from Ford.
The wait is almost over.

I do like your truck but I think its the fender flares that really set it off, for me anyway. The 08-10 trucks look good lifted too but stock I just found them a little lacking. I would own one though if I had the chance.

I agree. I remember when you bought it. Around the same time I bought my Royal Red / Black two tone 09 V10. I still like it looks wise better than my current 12...

current body departure
It is a departure from the current body style.
Not one interchangeable body part at all.
different pitch windshield angle, totally boxed frame, I have driven them also and I can tell you this, they are Bad-*** too.

f-150 vs. f-250
The only similarities between the two are they are all aluminum construction and the curve at the top center of the windshield!
They do however, look way better than the current body style and we finally were able to get rid of that ugly dodge like looking bubble rear wheel flare on the duallies.
The lines on this style are very nice and nice large OEL lighted tail lights

Seems like more rake on the windshield too. Headlights and taillights are different. I think the cab might be padding and camo but the third brake light is out on that. May have extended it out to through us all off eh. Looks to have the F150 body line running the length of it. I would not be opposed to the F150 and Superduty being more alike now really. After sitting behind a new F150 at a light the other day I though to myself that they look pretty good.

super-duty
I work at the proving grounds and I have always hated the look of the 11-15's
This new truck is awesome except for us giving it a few ugly GM attributes like the ugly hood lines

Not criticizing your opinion Joe, but you're in a VERY small minority. Yours is the first positive comment I've read about that picture on any area of the board or any forum for that matter. Some dislike it and most I've read outright hate it. But, die hard Ford guys will buy it regardless. I'm not brand loyal and if that is indeed what 2017 has to offer, I'll likely look elsewhere for my next truck unless there are some outstanding options and tech upgrades to help me overlook the appearance.

No problem, looks are subjective. I see a lot of F-150 in that design.
Good to know that Ford is going to a boxed frame, that is a far stiffer design and better for a pickup. I would imagine that the F-450 will stay on a C channel frame for aftermarket body mounting. I hope 'Twin-I-Beam' is finally gone and I would not mind IFS on the 4X4's, at least the F-250.

I agree completely on IFS. I never go off road and the new IFS is fine for plowing. Will be interesting if strokerbo is honest or stroking us! I also see the new 150 which I love. However, I can't get past the GM style boxy front end and the mismatched bed to window lines. For a 4X4 is sure is low in the back end so I'm hoping it does get air ride like Ram. You don't need rake to handle squat if the airbags can pump you back up.
