460 distributor leaking oil......
On my new 460, I bought the billet HEI distributor(if that matters) . . I have tried 2 separate o rings on the dist base(in the correct ring/groove) and still my dist has oil seaping past it.
Is there a downside to adding a small amount of silicone around the base? I have the timing set, I'm not worried Bout moving it any.
Maybe a dumb question, but was just wondering if there was a problem in doing that
