1953 F250 Rear Brake Junction Block

I need to replace my (what looks like brass) rear brake line junction block and can't seem to locate one. It's for 1/4" brake line and bolts to the rear end. I've checked the on line parts place and all they carry is a block for the F100 and it's for smaller brake line. If there's another thread on the subject please point me to it. Any help would be appreciated...Thanks...Steve

The part number of the "Connector - Brake Pipe To Rear Axle Housing" is 01T 2074-A. A quick look at Parts Voice shows none in stock at vendors they serve. I'd suspect you can get one from Chuck Mantiglia of Chuck's Trucks, or he may have one available from his partnership with Job Lot. Below is Chuck's web site.

And BTW, welcome to the forum. Stu

Well...at the moment I'm on Pine Island FL working in my truck but when the snow melts I'll be back in Gwinn. And Stu thanks for the info on Chucks Trucks, I'm going to check them out. For anyone else that stumbles across this thread the brake line fitting size for a 53 F250 is 7/16-24 and I found a brass tee at Federal Hill Trading for around $14 bucks. It, however, does not have the mounting hole for bolting it to the axle housing so a bracket will have to fabbed up. Note: the brass tee being sold by Mac's and LMC is for an F100 and is 3/8-24.

Update: The Tee from Federal Hill does not work because rear brake hose thread size is not 7/16-24.

Okay, I crawled through the surrounding mess and pulled it. The 53 M254/F-250 in my signature block gives of itself once again. As you described, 7/16" 24 tpi on the metal lines, and 7/16" 20 tpi on the rubber hose. With mounting hole and bolt. Give me your mailing address please. Stu

I got one (nos?) from allfordparts in northern ca. It's listed for 47 and earlier trucks, but you can cross reference the part number to the earlier ford large trucks via the green bible. not sure if I got the last one or not?!
