Looking at a powerstroke 6.4

I am going to look at a 2008 ford f259 powerstroke 6.4 tomorrow. It has 132,xxx miles and has the DPF and EGR deletes, with a straight pipe where the DPF used to be back to mbrp dual cowboy cut exhaust. He tuned it with the DPF-R +. He says it added 75 horsepower. I have never owned a 6.4. How do I make sure the truck isn't stuck in Regen mode, or has any problems. Or any other information to look for would
Be greatly appreciated.

If it's deleted it's never going to go into regen mode unless it was never tuned for it. If that was the case it probably wouldn't run with the PCM expecting to see the assorted sensors and hardware for the DPF.
