Dumb Question about my chassis year?

I recently bought a truck off a guy and he told me it was a 53 chassis with a 52 body. What is an easy check to verify my chassis year! I'm ordering a lowering kit from Mid 50 tomorrow so I need some help quick guys. lol.
This site has been AWESOME and very helpful on my build. Thank you

There are a couple of pictures of a '53 F100 Chassis below. Note the upper shock absorber mount, and the engine mounts. The '53 engine has a single mount in the front, just below the crank pulley. The '52 has two front engine mounts.

What does your title say? The title should go with the frame, not the body.

The VIN number should be stamped somewhere on the top of the right frame rail, between the cab and the shock support, or the radiator support cross-member near the right frame rail. (if it is a '53)
