Think I want to ditch the Volare Clip? Thoughts?

I ordered a 89 dipomat police steering gear and installed it last night. and so far the truck is night and day better. The gear I had in it before the police gear was a fresh reman, but it was wacky, no road feel. The slightest movement on the wheel would cause it to almost change lanes.
I have an appointment to have the alignment rechecked. I didn't want to bother getting it checked until the new steering gear in place. I want to confirm I have enough positive caster. I haven't had it up over 50 mph yet but so far feels great.
Thank you everyone for the feed back. sorry Don for the confusion about the twitchy steering.

I took the truck out for a good run last night. It is flawless now.
Like many others have posted. I think you will be happy with the Volare clip in your truck. They may not be quite as pretty to look at, but the cost of replacement parts is really cheap. I have completely rebuilt my clip. The quality of the ride is great. Stops great. (I have upgraded pads and rotors) handles great for a daily driver. you aren't going to win an autocross event with this set up. but its pretty good.
I still intent to install an 84 dodge omni power steering rack next winter. I will make a separate post if anyone is interest in how it turns out.
But for now I'm going to drive it while the sun is shining!
