I blew my HPOP line a couple months back and coulda swore I blew motor staring at 15 qts of oil on road. Turns out diesels just shut down from oil loss so they dont blow. Maybe that will reassure you? Either case I would say HPOP rather than pedestal unless the valley is full. Not a mechanic here just past history
Good luck BD

Happy humpeth day Nor Cal FTE and friends. Another beautiful day here in the armpit of California. Going to be a bit busy getting my free haircut voucher, getting my haircut and a pedicure! (When you can't reach your toes, you pay someone to cut your toenails ) And then head over to the mobile home park to see if any mail made it there since the change of address went in. Oh, and Comcast should be calling to find out when they can pick up the modem and cable box. They don't do that anymore, they have you drop it off at a service center, or mail it, but they are making an exception in my case.

GENTS! how goes it out there? so far, so good here in oaktown. busy as all get-out. just ordered $400 worth of parts from riffraff. after another quick stop at o'reillys for a drive belt, fuel filter, and whatever else i'll come up with… i think i'm making the right purchases.
it always sucks spending this kind of dough but the alternatives are probably much more $$$.
i've got some pictures if anyone wants to see.. thinking i'll post them in the main diesel forum for 99-03 7.3's.
cheers fellas.

Sounds good to me. I love adding upgrades to my vehicles.
Just got a email response from the guy who is selling the purple Explorer and the headers have a carb number so it passes smog with no issues, and both front and rear gears were replaced not just the front. Now if I can just get the SSDI check, I will be a happy camper.

Another beautiful day here in the armpit of California. Sunny, no clouds and 73 degrees as a high. Wish we had this weather all year round. Anyone have any plans today? I don't, just stay at home playing computer games. Only have one DVD here with me, and I have seen it five times already. Can practically read the script line for line now. LOL
