Sliding rear window
Hey guys,
One of the many things I need to fix is my sliding rear window, just looking for confirmation of what will fit.
I was under the impression that 1980-90-something windows would fit my 1973 truck, so that's my preference since I've removed all the crown molding and will be ditching a lot of the rest of the bright-work. I'd prefer a black-framed rear window if I can use the later model. Is it possible?
LMC doesn't show a slider for 73-79 but they do for 80-96, making me wonder if they're interchangeable.
Help appreciated,
John

73 to 96 same opening, go to the bone yard and get the newest one you can find, rope it in. If you can't find dark tint take it to a excellent glass tint shop. We used to completely disassemble them and take the tint all the way to the edges of the glass and you couldn't tell them from factory privacy glass. No matter what brand you have even if factory they will leak at a high pressure wash.
