99 f250 superduty 7.3 weird ts6 issues?

Hey guys! Thanks for your time.....
I recently had a friend give me a ts6 chip - I wanted to install it in my truck but since I wasn't sure if it was for my truck I sold it to a buddy whow said he could reburn them...... I went a head and picked up a chip from advance diesel - 215$..... ship time was good......
When I put in my info it asked my year make and model and [if a e99] what's the manufacturer date...... I filled out all of that.........
Anyway when it got here...... I cleaned the ecm port as stated in the directions...... I got everything set up nicely.........
My tune was set up as such.

Tune 1 - stock
Tune 2 - high idle
Tune 3 - 50hp
Tune 4 - 75ph.
Tune 5 - 100hp.
Tune 6 - 140hp.

The good - high idle workso nicely.... 50 has a Lil power pick up - 75 is wow and 100 is omg.... 140 seems the same 100 but with more smoke....
I do notice a major gain in every mode between 50 and 100.....
Currently I'm driving on the 50 hp mod.... Im waiting on my egt gauges and fuel psi gauges before I push it.

So on to the bad......

If I put the truck in stock mode - there is absolutely no power and the truck won't Rev past 2k. And if you try to make it Rev past 2k it starts smoking blue.....

High idle is fine. Except if you Rev it when in this mode it does the same as above - nothing past 2k.

All the other modes are fine except - once again revving - plenty of Power and such but if you Rev the engine [ touch the pedal at all ] it triggers the check engine light........ as long as you never touch the pedal it doesn't appear.
Note - it only triggers when the engine deaccls - releasing the throttle - I can wot it and hold it at 2800 rpms and it doesn't appear until released - same goes for going down the road.... as long as your on it -no ses light. If I shut off the truck and restart the light is gone - at least until deacell
I tried pulling the codes with torque pro and a high end snapon scanner and both devices say -no codes found....

Next and possibly the weirdest issue - my cruise control light is Mia - it worked before the install but is gone after...... The cruise control still works just the light is gone.....
Any advice ? 99 7.3 psd - 6 speed - f250 sd.

I have no idea about the lights problem. But the stock mode makes me wonder if the 1st setting is a valet mode. I've looked into stock and reflashed 6 positions, I've decided I want factory tunes, in an attempt at avoiding these type of issues.
I didn't end up buying the chip, I shouldve. Still want to, but at the time I figured I'd buy gauges first. Still haven't and I don't see me buying gauges any time soon. Oh well... maybe next year

Not that this helps your problem, but I was told from several sources when I had my 1997 7.3 with DP Tuner that if you have stock injectors, all those HP settings aren't doing you much good.
It's my understanding that you might gain 40 HP or so max with stock injectors.

Kinda gotta agree with you - for me I don't see much past 75hp setting # 2 - pulling a big hill today with a trailer -I flipped the switch from 75 to a 100 while wot - I did notice a Lil more power buto not enough to make you say wown - I plain to do injectors some day ! Thanks!

Problem fixed! The chip was flashed wrong! Got it reburned and good to go!
