Seat belt latch's as tailgate latchs

Have started this mounting on my truck. Does anyone have any input or pictures so I don't typically have to do a redo?

Need to clarify. I like Drewskis set up. What I'm trying to do is avoid drilling thru bed.
I've thought about disassembling the latch and mounting thru it. Anyone done this?
Guess I could drill thru bed and paint bolts.

We're on the same sites today. Welded or hidden screens for fastening the receiver. It's errie how similar our tab mounting is.

I welded the mounting studs to the bed so that nothing would be showing on the outside. I didn't hide the mounting hardware behind the buckle portion since I needed them exposed so that my folding stays could use the same studs for attachment. After I figured out how everything would be mounted I dressed it up a little by using polished stainless nuts and bolts.

I bolted mine through the latch with a nut plate inside the stake pocket.
