if your front or rear Fan stops running on High

here's what I discovered...

it's the dash Speeds switch that stops the Fan from running in High Speed;

yes, the switch where you adjust the speed of the Fan/Blower, front or rear if you have the rear system.

it's not the Fan, it's not the Fan Resistor, it's the Dash Switch. They burn out at one of the electrical contacts.

these switches are "openable", you can try to fix them.

fortunately I had a spare pod with all the switches and I replaced the Rear Fan Switch assembly and bingo, the fan started running again.

you have to disassemble the dash to get to it, then you have to remove the 3 bolts of the climate controls pod to pull it. Then you can remove the 6mm bolt behind the switch to replace it.
