Propane dual fuel was a popular aftermarket addition in the late 70's and early 80's since gasoline had nearly tripled in price and propane was still quite cheap.77&79 is correct there would be a regulator and 4wyndr is correct that a spacer/mixer between the carb and manifold and a switch inside to switch from gas to propane or the reverse. If you get a chance look at a warehouse forklift set up

No such thing as a P only axle code.
1963/79 F100/350: AXLE code stamped on the 2nd line-far right of the Warranty Plate, located on the left door face below the latch.
If the AXLE code has two digits, this refers to the rear axle. The 1st digit will be a number (no Limited Slip) or a letter (with Limited Slip, but there's no P). The 2nd digit is a number.
If the AXLE code has 3 digits, the 3rd digit could be either a number or a letter, refers to the front axle.
If the 3rd digit is P .. this refers to the 4WD's front driving axle, which on 1973/75 F250's is a Dana 44-6CF with Power Steering.
