Evening All!
Today would've been a good day to start on a winch bumper. I had slow spot in the afternoon, but I filled that with tuning up Earthquake and getting the choke wired. I also made a flat base for the air cleaner so it would clear the fuel line, linkage, etc., but it's a 1/4" to short on the bottom flange and it hits the accelerator pump linkage. I may just weld another 1/4" to the bottom of it instead of making a whole new one.
I have another stack of done invoices that have yet to be paid and two more wrecks waiting to come in the door. Any project I start now will have to wait a few days. I still need to keep going on the Thunderstang and the C-cab. ......it never ends.

Morning Alan the Ranger passed its insp with flying colors. When I was getting the front end aligned the other day they had to install a ($30 each side) Cam kit kit to be able to do the caster/camber adjustment....then I got some new front tires.
So half my arm later it is way better going down the road. And while WE were under it on the lift WE eye balled some other issues, it is going to the frame shop 1st before a new rear axle is put under it.
Alan again I really appreciate you doing the ball joints and tune up.
Morning folks, stay warm, its BRRR out there.

It was a good day. I got the Aveo in, the quarter panel pulled out, mud work, primer paint and clear all done!
I just have to peel it and do final assembly tomorrow morning, then park it in the new shop for a few days until I can color sand and buff it out. She should have it back by Sunday afternoon.
I have a Honda that needs a new rocker panel fabbed up and installed to do tomorrow.
Rich. No problem on the work. Anytime.

The Aveo just about gave me an aneurysm today. I fired it up and pulled it inside yesterday. Today, the dang thing WILL NOT RUN!!!
It appears that the body control module took a dump. All I did was replace a tail light! (which works fine, by the way) WHAT-THE-EVER-LOVIN'-HECK???!!! If I jump the starter solenoid, it will run, but I have no gauges, the shift interlock doesn't work, and the check engine light is on. When I hook up the code reader it won't recognize the car. The BCM is just dead. What the heck?! Dang Chevy pile O' crap!
You all can imagine that my actual language was a tad stronger this morning.

Sounds like a rough day Alan. I can imagine your words lol!
Did that gal come by?
Here is my new led roof light for Bandit. I'll run a led strand under the dash for the door switches as well. This ought to light up the inside pretty good with the led dash.

If it works good I'll think about doing the same with Ol Big Red. Reds dash lights work great though, so I probably won't need to do the cluster.
