Another month down! Ill be ordering front/rear glass seals for my b-day present. On a side note, anyone know the oem length on battery cables? Dad put some cheap orileys battery cables on 5 years ago and they are junk. I made my own for my old 96 firebird that I built for KCIR and might do that again for the 78' F250.
Hope everyone is staying warm its snowing here in Kc right now.

Only wet and dreary here this morning...
Up and at 'em early this morning for a Boy Scout Fundraiser at the VFW hall. We help out with their weekly breakfast and the troop gets the proceeds.
If things dry up a bit this afternoon, maybe I'll start tearing down the '87 again to hunt for the fuel leak.

It's a sure sign you're getting old when you look at the sign by the cash register that says, "You must have been born on or before this date to buy alcohol." then you realize, you were old enough to buy alcohol on that date.
I'm gonna play with the C cab a little today as soon as I peel the Focus I shot yesterday. Between those two jobs and a scrap run, I should do pretty well this week. I plan on concentrating on spending the rest of the time getting the new engine in EQ and ordering the graphics for it. This broke old man is getting excited again about this old truck.

Not much going on here today. I made it through the boys' fundraiser this morning and went parts shopping this afternoon. I couldn't find a headlight adjuster screw for the '87 locally because they've been discontinued. After some digging in the right forum, I came up with the factory part number and snagged some off E-Bay.
The weather has my lungs too gummed up for much anything else other than to sit here and annoy y'all.
On the upside, when the weather breaks and my lungs clear up, I should be all set to finish the engine work and start on the rear end swap...

Evening All!
Took a break from eating junk food and watching the super bowl to poke in here.
I got the Focus peeled today and then got working on the C cab. I finally figured out what I wanted to do with the master cylinder and booster. The only place to really put it was on the firewall. With the hood on it, you can only see the bottom of the booster anyway. I also engineered a brake pedal assembly and got that installed in the truck. As soon as I get a gas pedal in it, I can weld in the dash. ....it's gettin' there.

Good Morning Everybody!
It's gonna be a monster week. (get it, ....'cause I'm gonna' be working on the monster truck)
Anyway, as soon as these paint jobs are delivered today and the scrap run is put together, I'll be pulling in the Ranger to yank the engine and trans. Then EQ will be in there for the heart transplant. I hope to have a dependable truck by the end of the week. (fingers crossed)
