Evening All!

For a half day in the shop, I got a good amount done. I got the Jeep buttoned up and ready to deliver, the spare tire cover I started yesterday is also done. Then I went outside and flushed the fuel system in the monster truck and got that fired up, so I pulled it inside the extra bay. I have a timing chain and water pump to do in a Toyota truck tomorrow, so I guess my niece's Aveo will pushed back a little bit. I have at least five wrecks lined up after the my niece's car. ......whew.

The good news is, my new seat should be ready to pick up for the '73 this week. (yay!)

Well we got plenty of snow around Rolla today. I'd say 6 inches judging by what is on the porch railings. Only seen one car in the ditch on my way into town so I guess most were prepared for the weather.

Good Morning Everybody!

I'm gonna tinker with the '73 until the timing chain job shows up today. I may throw the plugs in the monster truck and wire in the choke while I'm at it. I really want the rust repair to be done on the '73. It has to look like a brand new truck by April 14th. (That's when the Branson auction is)

Evening All!

Jeff. Yes. Beetle's. Not sure of the spelling, though.

RC, I had to lock Alice in 4wd just to get out of my parking lot.

I didn't want to get involved with rust repair on the '73, then have the guy show up with the timing chain. .....so I did something else. To showcase what I can do for panel fabrication, I made a 1/2 scale driver's door for a dent. It turned out pretty cool!

I plan on painting it black and putting the "Earthquake" graphic on it.

Somehow, I knew that was coming. ....and the thought had actually crossed my mind, but I need to get other things done right now.

Somebody DID just give me a dangerous idea, though. Re-skin a Ford Ranger pick up with scaled down dent parts. (fenders, doors, bed sides, etc.) Lift it, put it on 35s and call it "Tremor". It would be like a 3/4 scale Earthquake.

Thanks Alan.

Nice door! Sounds like a kick butt project! Nobody has done that! Lol

When are you looking at getting some of the bumpers done? That would be really cool!

If anyone drives west on 44 from Springfield, be careful lots of cars upside down along the way.

Evening everyone, not much new with me...getting tired of the cold temps.

My brother text me yesterday, asking about my fte username, so I replied and I get a reply back saying "request sent". So username: 78iron is my brother and he joined fte yesterday.

Alan, that miny dentside door is amazing! Please hurry with your other 6 or 20 projects and carry on with this one!
