Rear window won't go all the way UP

I've read threads where the window won't go down, goes down slowly and goes up slow then takes off fast. Mine goes up less than 1/4 of the way then stops. Tried to help it up with no success. Removed the inspection panel, and discovered a pretty new motor. Mechanisms are all grimy, the motor is a pretty silver.

Loosened the tracks to see if that was the cause to avail. Can't get the window out far enough to access mechanisms. What do you guys think?

get someone to operate the switch to raise window while you help push it up. dont get fingers near any pinch points though. After it is up enough clean all the gunk off mechanisms, check the rollers/sliders are in good shape. spray some silicone spray on everything that slides, pivots etc.operate it through the full range several times.

Before that make sure you check the tracks really well to make sure nothing is blocking the window travel.

If you have two buddies to help, raise the window with the bed down while you and one friend gently try to help the window up while the second friend pushes the switch. Keep in mind the two on the window will also need to support the window, it's not heavy obviously but if you forget and let go ...

If all else fails try ...... Viagra! hehehe sorry couldn't resist

I feel like the resistance is occurring on the right side. When the window comes to a stop the left is higher than the right. So maybe I'll start with half a blue pill. Haha!

Gong to dig in again tomorrow when I have some help. Thanks for the feedback!

One of the rollers was stuck in the slider. When I pulled the slider away from the mechanism the roller was jammed inside. Cleaned all parts with brake cleaner and greased up, working nicely! One good thing, found where the defroster was unplugged, so maybe the rear defrost will work now as well!

I see you fixed yours.. But I've also ran into a problem with my top not seated correctly. Backed off on a few of the rear bolts and the window went up and down no problem.
