Just bought a edge programmer for my 1996 ford f350 and once I connect it and enter the vin it tells me it needs to download a file to the truck gets to a screen and says UNlocking module and then stops any ideas on how to fix it? Could it be the programmer?

 

have you updated the programmer from the edge website? if not it will need updated before any type of tunes will be allowed to run on your truck,
