38Gal tank

Ok gent's, I know a lot of you talk about upgrading to a bigger tank, so here is my question.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/231020763763?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
I'm about 5 seconds away from dropping the cash on it, just not sure if there is a difference between diesel and gas fuel tanks..

It's 94 free shipping on the link I posted. Here's a screen shot.

Ebay blocked? Do you have a VPN?

No, it's employer policy. Anyway, that's a STEAL; I'm tempted to pull the trigger on one just to have on hand, for when I get the bug to go high-capacity. Now I wish I didn't have such new(-ish) rear tanks on both PSDs....

Same here, network blocks ebay and youtube at work now, amazon is still good for some reason.

I'm pulling the trigger and sending it to my mom's. And hope I can fit it in the trunk of my car on the ride back to KS from CO.

why not just have it shipped to home or where the truck is at? take bed off to do it's easier especially in the cold if you have any problems, plus you can dbl check your fuel & brake lines, and work on front tank mods, and any wire harness issues (trailer harness).

I'm deployed. And if packages sit in the mailroom for more than 30 days, they get RTS. I guess I could alway In Care of to somebody back there, but then they would be stuck with a fuel tank in their room for a while.

The bed will come off, I'm just jumping on this deal before it goes away! So I'm ready for it when the time comes.

You will not regret it John. I love mine and the aux tank. Then Brad posted a 38 gallon front tank mod, if I did that I could carry 110 gallons, LOL

I agree. I love having the 38 gal rear tank. I won't put a larger front tank cause it's 4wd

I saved that link Nick but really haven't read it. Ninety gallons is probably enough, LOL I just really like it when I don't have to look for fuel on the road.

I have a 55 gallon tank from an E-450 bus that I'm gonna try to stuff under the back of my truck. I would like to have one of those 38 gallon tanks for another project though.
